Earlier this week we had to be gone to take care of some stuff with a loved one and it didn't make sense to bring Cajun Boy along. The longest thirty-six hours of my life because it's not like he's in the easiest phase of life and only wants me again....plus all of the other pesky stuff that was going on.
We headed to the middle of Kansas and met up for some doctor's appointments and a little extra time to talk and learn about stories we'd never heard of. As we got home, I took a deep breath and walked in to find...
Yeah, that's Cajun Boy wiped out on the floor. His baby-sitter said that he fell asleep leaning forward on the computer chair, but when he started to wobble she helped him to the floor.
Today, CM brought home shredded cheddar cheese for the boy child. He immediately wanted a "big bowl, please!" So, I got him one and headed in the kitchen for something else. When I came back, he was loading his cheese into his backhoe and then off-loading it into his dump truck.
I asked him what he was doing and he said, "making loads." So I said, "How many loads is it going to take?" He answered with his favorite numbers, "5, 6, 78910"as he counted with his fingers.
That's right. I think he's awesome.
Later, I changed his diaper and he asked me to sit on the couch and hold him, so I sat down and he leaned forward with his head on the other end of the couch. He was kinda watching tv, so I checked my email on the iPod and the next thing I heard was a huge SNORE.
Yep 2 days in a row, he fell asleep standing up. Gotta love it.
I love his little tummy sticking out.
One last picture of his sweet, sleepy face. I don't see that one near enough.
Sweet Dreams.
