This year, Grandma Cajun started a neat tradition for Cajun Boy. Cajun Man and I have been taking a Financial Planning Course in the local metropolis on Mondays and Grandma has been taking advantage of the chance to have some real quality time with her grandson.
CB and I had been seriously ill the week before and by the time Monday came around, I was in no shape to spend it in a classroom setting. I called our teacher and CM and canceled and let them know the score, but when I called Grandma Cajun she asked if she could have CB anyway. As a sick Momma, my heart cried out in joy at the thought of sitting still for a few hours without an extremely active, cranky toddler.

So, Cajun Boy and I whipped up some corsages and Valentines and he was SO excited to see his G'ma pull up. Look at that face! Grandma Cajun took our little man out to Wendy's and off to play with his favorite toys: the Woof-Woof & E-owwww {Dog & Cat}. They probably would have felt a bit more love if he hadn't tried to pull the cat down the hall by the tail!
CM brought home my favorite Mexican food and we watched grown-up tv without a single Caillou in site! What a wonderful, absolutely non-romantic V'Day for our little family.
